Well, I say that if a rooster were to lay an egg on a roof, the way it would roll would be down.

Rooster's can't lay eggs. Have you been hanging out with my 8 year old grandson? He asked me a similar question just the other day.

so they do not lay eggs
chickens and rooster do not fly so they can not get up on a roof
It was a hard boiled egg, and it did not roll
