My cat was like this when I adopted him from the pound. I think he was stressed out and developed bald spots. he is okay now. Has anything been stressing out your dog?

It may be something called a histyocytoma (sounds scary but isn't). You can have a vet check it out. Basically what happens is that something damages the area (often though maybe a bug bite) and the body responds to it with one of these. It most often happens in young dogs (under 3). It is not a serious condition because they often go away on their own.
You should have a vet to check it out to make sure. If it gets infected or doesn't go away, the vet can do surgery to remove a histyocytoma.

Puppies get a type of mange called demodex- it usually isn't itchy, and it starts as little bald spots, often on the face or head. It is not contagious, but it can be hard to get rid of. Your vet can tell you if that is what it is by scraping the surface of the skin and examining it under a microscope. Puppies also get ringworm, which you can get too-- get this puppy to a vet!!

If it proves to be just hair loss, give the dog the best food you can buy.
we followed the advice of a Vet and it cost us thousands. Our dogs ate the cheaper food, we had a terrible time with fleas, and we were throwing out dog hair by the bushel. All because we used Wal-Mart foods 'their brands. we also lost a breeding season when some of our girls bred and didn't have any puppies.
Vets can be wrong!
As to the fleas. When we switched to cheaper food the dogs skin got dry and fleas loved it.
we switched to Purina One Lamb and rice with yogurt and every dog is feeling better, and frisky again. Plus we are back in puppies again!

nicely, to be fairly straightforward, your dogs does not sound like he's in discomfort in any respect :)! After a stable day of enjoying in the backyard and having relaxing walks, he's specific to be drained and vulnerable day after today if he's previous :P. If the vet says he's no longer in any discomfort, then its all stable. you would comprehend while his time comes, he would help comprehend and you have the potential to ascertain it in his eyes :). it would desire to be no longer worry-free yet while he dies on your place then a minimum of you comprehend he has long previous peacefully in the region the place he belong and the place he's enjoyed :). wish this has helped :) x

my dog had the same thing. I had to take him in to the vet and get an ointment, i was told it was a fungus and that it could be contagious to humans as well.

mange, ringworm, hot spot ....... could be those or something else.
Your best bet is to take it to the vet where they can diagnose it.
