This guy that sits next to me is always poking me and taking my pencil and he always touches my hand. This other guy keeps telling us to stop flirting but we always say we aren't flirting. I like him and I want to know if he likes me!

If you are under 16, then yes. Young boys often don't know how to approach a girl and so they pester them to show interest. It's kind of like, bad attention is better than no attention. They like getting a reaction. If you like him, smile at him lots and send "good" vibes his way. Hopefully he will respond better when he know that the feeling is mutual. It's scary to take the risk and say something outright, so they often take the back door approach. After you send him positive signals, he may actually get to the point. Good luck!

That could be a sign of flirting, unless he is also calling you really mean names, making fun of you (not in a nice way), etc. It also depends on how old you/the guy is. Younger guys (like I mean young like ages 6 to 13 young) usually use the tactic of annoying a girl (even though theyre not trying to. theyre just tyring to impress you. guys have weird ways of trying to impress us). if it's an older guy it could depend. he's either trying to get your attention in an immature way or is just actually immature and has no interest in you. you can never really tell.

OK well..... yes what i think is wen he touches you re hand he wants to hold it and Neva let it go maybe try talking to him but only ova the net first tell him he looked cute at school today and see what he says if what he says is negative then maybe say OK lol i was joking or try get you re self out of it.......or if he says wow! thanks say no worries and fell like jumping !!! then wait 4 it he might just say something back like i think u are hot too then ask him ! :) but not straight away:)

BINGO! young guys can't express their emotions verbally, so by physically expressing it, while he repeats the actions over and over then YES! Plus the ppl from the outside say your flirting another YES!

We annoy girls for many reasons:
- just to be annoying
- to get attention
- to show they like you
- to get into trouble
- etc.
