No, it will disrupt the chemical bonds. You will end up with frizz and damage. You are supposed to wait about 3 days to wash or stretch it. Just wait it out, rinsing with plain water is safe in the meantime.

Why did you get a perm if you like straight hair? Perming, straightening, blow driying, coloring, flat ironing all damage and dry out hair. If you just had your hair permed last night then it is really not a good idea to try to straighten it the very next day. Plus, straightening it this soon could spoil the perm when you decide you want to wear it curly.

NOOOOO I don't think you should. The process of a perm makes your hair very very sensitive, trust me. I think you should wait at least a week before dying it or straightening it, or else it'll turn dry, like mine. Just let it relax. During summer, I permed my hair and the next day I left to Hawaii. The perm made my hair so sensitive that the sun turned it into a lightlight brown! and my hair before that was a dark brown.

you should not straighten it because the chemicals you put in your hair haven't finished stabilising and you could overly burn your ahir and with that the perm will have fallen at the root mostly and your curls will not be as full as they should. I say bad idea and why did you get a perm in the first palce...

if you just got it permed? if you're going to try straightening it...
a) you'd lose your perm which you just paid money to have done
b) even though you're hair might be straight temporarily, all the chemicals and stuff they used to perm it will probably cause it to frizz.
you should probably just stick with the perm :)

You're not supposed to do anything drastic for 48 hours following a perm. You can get it a little wet but no shampoos or other chemicals and no hard combing, never any brushing.

No you can't. Technically after geting a perm, you aren't supposed to wet your hair for 24-48 hours. So you aren't able to wash it and blow it out.
You gotta wear it curly for a few days. Once you do your first way, use a round brush and a blow dryer to straigten hair. You may want to use a ceramic flat iron too.

you can straighten it, but you'll just damage it more, and chances are the perm will come out atleast a bit, if not all of it.
