It is a possibility or she may have a friend who may be attracted to you and she is trying to help break the ice.
Keep the doorway of communication open - make effort to speak to her when passing ......
seek out opportunities to be in similar groups - ballgames, dances, parties, church events, etc ..... these give opportunity to talk further.
If the attraction is mutual you will both know it - either way appreciate the chance to make a new friend.
It is just as uncomfortable for girls to approach guys as guys girls.......someone has to make the first move in order to connect.

Just to be asking that kind of question would tell me she's interested in some way. Next time you see her, ask her if she has a boyfriend, than if she was asking for someone else-she will tell you than. BUT, if she was asking for herself, it would be a good way to start up a good conversation!

Well its very possible she likes you or one of her friends do or she could just be trying to get to know you girls are very complicated we cant ever make up our minds!! Maybe you should talk to her and get to know her if she flirts then yea she probally likes you!! Well I hope I was of some help!!

very likely because girls dont care about anything but themselves and things that effect them. so.. you must effect her in some way. but your probably young and she might be asking for one of her friends. rest assured, some she knows likes you, if not her.
