If my current love heard me arguing with my ex over the phone, is that a turn off? Even though I appolgized for him having to hear that? He was a bit ticked off by my ex yelling at me(he could hear him through the phone).

there is nothing more frustrating than being with someone and then their former coming by or calling

but ruder still is that you wasted time with the potential bickering with the former

the most polite thing to do is not answer the phone during the time you are with the next prospect
it must be - keep it extremely short regardless of the purpose of the call
if see the call is going into a direction you do not wish to deal with at this time, simply end conversation/ call until prospective person is not there

treat others as you wish to be treated - remember just as easily the shoe could be on the other foot

Why are you talking to the ex? If you have children that makes sense. If you have children you will need to learn to talk and not argue; your new love will have to understand there will always be communication. If no children stop talking to your ex there is no reason

Yeah, it would be a big turnoff to me. You didn't have to argue or take the call, at least not right then. It wasn't a good move.

I think it could be...quit talking to your ex. Showing emotion, good or bad, toward him may show that you still have feelings for him or that he "gets under your skin".

Why would he be turned off? You had a fight with your EX, not with him.
