Polydactal cats are not a breed of cat. The term means the cats have five "toes" This is usually a birth deffect, so there's never anyway of predicting where one will be born. That doesn't mean there's anything wrong with the cats, they're still good pets. Most of the time though, you just have to be lucky enough to come across one.

Being polydactal is a common mutation in cats. I see a few every time I go to the humane society. Very cute.

I have one living in my yard. He was abandoned by his owner who lived across the street but moved. He's a nice cat, he had an extra toe and has long hair.
