food aggressive means he was deprived in his past, poor dog. He is protective of your mom and sees you as a threat, let him get to know you but do not ever leave him alone with your kids.

His mating will die down. I get cats neutered and it takes them a couple of months to get all of that out of their system.

If the neuter was just done recently less than 30 days your dog is still virile and still can sire a litter, also since the neuter did not take place until after the dog had reached sexual maturity he has probably been used for breeding so he knows the scent of the female in heat and what it is for so he just wants to do what is instinctual for him. As for the dog humping other stuff, he is just displaying dominance over whatever he is humping, so yes it was done properly and all the behavior the dog is displaying is very normal.

The testosterone levels still remain for up to a month sometimes a bit longer after a dog is neutered. This is very normal.

He came from a pound and what he is doing is not sexual. It is a domination issue and he's trying to win his place.

I think it's a dominance thing - it's normal.
