What is the cause of nose bleed?

Hi there !
The casuse for "nose bleed " or "epistaxis" are many...Some of the major ones are as follows ..
--nose picking habit !
--Injury in some form
--allergici rihinitis
--sinusitis
--Leukemia
--last, but most important "Haemophilia and similar Blood diseases" !
Though it is important to find out the cause, more stress should be given to the aspects of "prevention" and "treatment", as it occurs at very odd hours in majority of the occasions !
The prevention includes, cold sponging, appying slight pressure over the nasal area and to come out of the "habit of nose picking" etc..
If it recurs, consult a GOOD ENT surgeon..!
Maybe we have to rule out causes like haemophilia or other Blood disorders ! especially in males !

Many causes...

Allergies, vast changes in the weather, cold weather, high blood pressure, intense exercise, trauma to the nose, infections, the list goes on and on...

They happen because little blood vessels in the nose burst for many different reasons. They can be serious if the bleeding is severe and not stopped. To stop a nose bleed, pinch the nose with both fingers for 5 minutes. If the bleeding continues, try once more. If it is not any better, you may need to go to the ER.

There are mainly 2 reasons,

1) The blood capilaries at our nasal area are thin, thus when a huge amount of blood is gushing to our brain (usually caused by stimulation of body to certain circumstances), it causes these capillaries to bursts and thus causes nose bleeding.

2) People's stomachs get more acid at night when they haven't eaten any food for awhile, and also due to normal body rhythms. This increase in stomach acid causes a person's metabolism to rise, which in turn makes people hotter. The increase in stomach acid also raises blood pressure, which causes the thin nasal capillaries to bursts and thus causes nose bleeding.

i think u r body temperature will be high than others. u r early morning at time of weak up time take 0.5 Lt's water. keep continuously do it and control the pressures and cool mind than u r body setout the nature.
