maybe you use too much conditioner? either grow it out very very long, that will make it seem more thick, or short with lots of layers. ask your hair dressor if there are any shampoos or something like that, that will help.

I have the same kind of hair. I recently started back combing my hair and that did magic. Just take a comb ( or even a smaller brush), pick up a section of hair, and comb the other way kind of fast at the roots. Then I use a volume hairspray like VO5. Works great!

blow dry your hair upside down! my hair is naturally flat as a pancake and you wouldn't ever know. i use a root-lifting spray by treseme when i get out of the shower, brush it through, then blow dry. i hope this helped a bit! try it out.

wash hair with olive oil and then style hair......oh and NEVER dry your hair in the restroom you took a shower in. it causes FRIZZ with all that humidity.
