Please don't say that I was mean. I like good revenge or rather standing up for myself when someone puts me or loved ones down.

Ok. So when my father got ill and had to use a walker, the next week, some people from our church really jumped on the bandwagon to rudely ask to buy land. I knew what was going on. One day, a woman who went to our church and owned a store up town and also worked at a real estate agency calls me and leaves messages. I finally return her call thinking my dad had an overdue bill at her store or something. Well she says do you have a minute and I am thinking at this point--well I am returning your call, so I guess I do. and she said well if you know of anyone give me a holler. I then said that there were plenty of signs up in town and she quickly hung up. I proceeded to get angrier and angrier, remember that she was also a partime real estate agent. So, I cut out ads for land for sale and posted them all over her store door and wrote--Hey B****, just wanted to give ya a holler. oooooo.. then I contacted her agency and talked to her boss and told him my grievance and he took care of it. She could barely look me straight in the face after that. So what do you think? what kind of rating would you give that one?

Yeah, I think they should have minded their own business. That is very rude and disrespectful- she shouldnt have assumed anything. If they still ask, tell them if they ask again you will personally make sure they will never have it. Good Luck with her!

I am confused why you think it is a problem that people want to buy your land. They probably think it might be a burden on your father and he can't work the land as he used to. Just politely say no thanks, we're not considering selling at this time. But they are not doing anything wrong expressing interest. It will be easier to sell before probate (if that happens).
