I read every day how illegal aliens are exempt from these laws simply because people say the police are acting as immigration officers. The police routinely let illegal aliens go free without worry or concern about what the rest of us are required to have. Is there one set of laws for Americas and another set of laws for illeagl aliens who even when providing even the simplest of things feel incline not to.

I live In Mount Vernon washington - My wife got rearended by an illegal alien on his way to get free food - as when the cop came all he had was a social services card as an ID - no driver's lic and no insurance and no registration - and yes the cop didn't call INS just gave him a ticket and let him go....
Thankfully my wife was in our truck and only had minor light damage - his car was totaled....thankfully.
No there are two sets of laws one for those of us who are here legally and one for those who choose to break the law every day....But the worst part is there are people who think that's okay ....boggles the mind....how they get away with so much....

It is the people in the government who also do not like our laws that let these invaders go. The men and women in our law enforcement who try to get these invaders off our streets like they should are persecuted for no reason. There isn't two different sets of laws. But the police are told to enforce them on US citizens, like they should, but blatantly allow the illegal invaders desecrate our laws and let them go. This is something that will hopefully stop soon.

The illegal immigrants are not exempted from having drivers' licenses and car insurance. If what you say is true that the police just let them go, could be a sign of corruption, you know, the illegal giving cash money to the police, to let them go.

If they are illegal why are they allowed to have a drivers license in the first place?? When they show up for a license they should be detained and sent home not given a license.

I was under the impression that everyone had to have licence and insurance. I would check into that. I think you are wrong. I think that there is a lot of them running around without insurance and have had their licence revoked and are still driving, but I do believe that if you operate a motor vehicle on the American roads that you mustr have an operators licence and insurance. At least I know you do in NC.

You kind of answered the question already - ILLEGAL aliens.

It's very difficult to accumulate a record when every time you get stopped for a violation, you present a different identity.

Just another really good reason we need a national Identification card issued to all legal citizens.

They are required to have them but our government makes it hard for them to aquire them. Doesn't that seem warped that we would rather have people driving around with no license and therefore running the risk of them fleeing an accident than to give them a license and make them accountable?

How ignorant! illegals get in trouble like any body else if they are let's say driving without a license, even worse they get worse penalties for being illegals.

Many undocumented people can not get a driver's license or insurance because they do not have a social security number. Officers can and do arrest such individuals. Check your newspaper.
