okay. so my top two adult incisors never grew in and after i had my braces removed (about 3 years ago) all my teeth had been moved so that there were no gaps where my incisors should have been. since i got probably my first teeth x-rays i've been down for getting at least four veneers for my front teeth because there was bound to be some cosmetic need for them. now that i've already had braces, my orthodontist thinks all that's left for me is the veneers. but the guy totally screwed up with my teeth! when he moved them together he also moved them FAR back and when you look at my profile you can see how much my top lip recedes. i know i need something to basically undo what the orthodontist did. and probably have some implants put in where my missing insicors are? i want my front teeth back where they were so my profile looks normal! and then i guess i'll get the veneers if i still need them. so my question is: will a palette expander do the trick? (along with the two implants) thanks!!

Getting your palate expanded, could very well help you out. It widens and/or spreads (opens) your palate, enabling more room for teeth to be placed, as in Veneers you were talking about. And the implants basically. It's been done... i dont see why it couldnt for you. ALTHOUGH, i havent seen your mouth and x'rays.. so.... If your Orthodontist suggest to get your palate widened, then go for it.

If you feel your orthodontist has messed up, still it would be advisable to talk to him. He should consider giving you expander free of any further cost, as the corrective measure. Rest of the treatment like implants and veneers can wait, and can be got done by the same dentist or elsewhere.

tough situation. if you feel like your orthodontist messed up that bad i would get an opinion from another, and ask for my money back or possibly sue, if your adult teeth had never come in, that should have been corrected before he moved your teeth and filled the spaces that you needed for normal sized teeth. this just definately sounds like you would benefit from a second and possibly third opinion before you go any further. i would bring pictures with you when you go for other opinions so the dentist can see what you were dealing with before the braces. good luck to you!

your'e a little bit stressed..... implants are best wanted if youhave to extract the teeth. While they are particularly well, nothign is a normal teeth, so that you traditionally dont' wish it extractd. root canals are best wanted if the toot is critically decayed and/or inflamed. if it is healthful, do not get a root canal! a veneer (as prompt above) would paintings, tho' i htink your nice guess (w/o seeing the teeth besides) woudl be to get a steady crown. You COUDL do the composite veneer alternative (mabye one hundred fifty; one hundred is depraved affordable!) however the crown is extra long lasting ultimately. direction you might do composite now and crown after saving up; i have performed it that approach on a few men and women; works out first-class.
