You did the first right thing, which was reach out. The next best thing is to reach out to someone you know, like your family doctor or counsellor or spiritual leader. Not eating will only make you feel worse, and lead to deterioration of your mind and body, so don't do that. Go eat something small and healthy right now, an apple or a glass of milk, get a little something in your belly. Then, if you can call a help line, your local crisis or help services line do that. They can help you find someone to talk to. Getting the words out of your mouth is the first step to feeling better I promise you that. You are a wonderful person and you will be just fine. Take care.

If it is available, try talking to a counselor. There are many good licensed professionals who are trained mainly to listen to you, and to start to help you to understand what it is that is bothering you. In some cases, this is the first step to feeling better.
I'm not going to pretend and tell you everything will be ok, since I don't know your situation.
Obviously, not eating will not help the situation, but I find that hunger is a better motivator than anything a stranger like me will say, so I'm not very worried about that.

Find a good therapist and tell someone that you know and love (who also feel the same about you). If you don't know of a therapist or don't know of anyone who can refere you: There are great resources on the internet.... It can also get you to places that use sliding scales if you have financial difficulties. Google is almost $500/share for a reason...USE IT!
Ask a friend who is already in therapy. Just don't let the pain destroy the you who can be happy and fullfilled.

To remember that God loves you. I recommend you to read Steve Job's commencement address to Stanford. If you cannot find it in the internet. Its in my blog 360.yahoo.com/jade_flowershop. Look for the blog Stay Hungry Stay Foolish. Whatever it is that is causing you such pain, remember all things have a purpose. Time will eventually reveal what that purpose is.

the first thing is to become aware of your breathing.
just close you eyes and feel yourself breathing.
just follow your breath - it keeps you alive.
pay close attention to your breathing for as long as you can.
this is about being alive, which is what you need to get in touch with.
later you can go take a yoga class. as soon as possible.
but right now just close your eyes and really focus on what it feels like to be alive and breathe.

See a Therapist. I think everyone should. No matter how they feel about themselves or others. it may help to have someone who is not friends of family to talk to. perhaps anti depressants may be in order, but you should talk to a doctor first.
