it's an infection. try taking a warm wet cloth and removing the eye boogies at least a couple times a day. and make sure to take them to the vet to get some ointment for them because if you leave it untreated they can lose their eyesight and possibly their eyes.
good luck.

Oh I forgot what we used to call that with our barn cats. My friend and I used to have outdoor barn cats and had the same thing happen. For some reason I can not think if the name tho.

We used to warm (not hot) a little milk and use a cotton ball to dab it on the eyes. You should do that several times a day and it helped a lot of our kitties.

Good luck

Your kittens have an eye infection. The vet will give you a tube of medicine to rub in their eyes and the infection will be gone on a week.

you can treat it yourself. just take WARM not hot water and drip it on the "boogies" and it will soften it. then gently wipe it off with a paper towel. it goes away faster if you go to the vet and get antibiotics but it doesn't matter. i have done this my whole life and all my cats are great. it is a painless way to get them off but they will be wet.

They could have colds i would take a napkin soak it with lukewarm water and dab their eyes. And if this dosnt work or if it keeps happening take them to the vet so just in case its serious they could save them!
