"Illegal immigrants only do the jobs Americans wont do." That statement is the sole arguement made by pro illegal immigrant protesters. Let me be the first to say that I would give up my $15.00 an hour job to earn $10 to $12.00 an hour working as a contractor if I could get paid under the table and have no taxes.

Ditto. If we could get those jobs, everyone would that is working for less than that and still having to pay taxes. And all the homeless standing on the off ramps for money I'm sure would go out in the fields and pick our fruit if they were getting paid and were able to eat some of it too. There are NO jobs in the USA that the citizens won't do for fair wages. They have no backing for their desire to legalize the invaders. Their excuses are spineless, and people are starting to realize that. I am glad that they helped rebuild a lot of New Orleans, but if the government gave the jobs they gave to the illegals to New Orleans residents, then that would have helped them get back on their feet by giving them a good paying job right off the bat by building their city again. We are giving money to foreigners before giving it to our own people. What is our government thinking when they do this?

Yes, I'm with you on this - I hate it! Also, I have read that now the Guatemalans are going illegally into Mexico to do the "jobs Mexicans don't want to do" and the Mexicans are all in an uproar over this! Ha! The Mexicans are running to the US to do the jobs Americans "don't want to do" and the Guatemalans are running to Mexico to do the jobs the Mexicans "don't want to do!" Go figure!

It's beyond me how anyone can admit to being Pro-Illegal. How can anyone be in favor of a widespread criminal act like this? Hopefully the government is monitoring these pro-illegal programs and making arrests for conspiracy.

Illegal aliens are doing more than washing dishes. They steal our jobs, putting our own people out of work. They depress wages they use fake ids on everything and claim 5-10 kids with that tax id even when they have only one or two kids. They break a lot of laws

first, kinda, i mean they don't finish the statement: "illegal immigrants only do the jobs americans won't do for that price"
secondly, here in texas it's more like 6 bucks an hour
lastly, i don't have a problem with illegal immigration; i have a problem with illegal employment, i cannot fault people risking everything to better themselves

It's because big company's use the excuse to get cheap labor .....to cut costs....
I'd be more than happy to pay more for fruit than to pay for the benefits that are given away here in washington - free food - health care - etc..... God my taxes would go so...down....if we cut off the benefits.....to the illegal aliens....

I lived in L.A. for awhile and it used to burn me up that the gardners make about $50.00 a yard per month,now multiply that by how many yards you can do in a day,then hoe many a week then if your paid in monthly installments at $50.00 a yard,per yard and guess what you dont have to report anything to the IRS under $250.00 payments,so what do you think goes on there?
They marched,I fired my gardener! the rich sob.
