Yes, my dog has bitten me more than any other dog I've ever worked with. He was severely abused the the first 6 years of his life and I adopted him when he was still a holy terror. He is a pomeranian, so it isn't life threatening, but it really hurt when he got my knuckle. He is mostly rehabilitated now and is my best friend, but it was a long journey. The important thing it to know why a dog bites, (fear, dominance) and then fix the problem. In case of fear, you need to allow the animal time to learn to trust you, in case of dominance, you need to teach them that you are the alpha and they will be fine. Dogs are smart and if they learn they can get their way by biting, they will do it.

There are different types of biting.
Fear biting
Playful biting
Agression.
I had a dog who bit me out of fear biting. I was picking him up quick to protect him because a big aggressive dog was on its way to make him a nice light snack. He paniced and bit me instead.
Look at the circumstances and identify the problem you eil lsee more clearly how to address it.
