yes! A REALISTIC HONEST PERSON ON THIS GD DAMND SITE! my aunt died a few years ago and was dead for a while. she came back and said she saw nothing as well. but ask anyone else in my family, and she saw a miraculous light with angels reaching out to her. i guess the fact THAT YOU WERE BROUGHT BACK TO LIFE isn't a big enough "miracle." now you have to lie!

Thank you for asking this question - I doubt that you would get an answer from any religious person as they like to keep such questions quiet and to themselves. I have a completely different approach to such things - I believe in reincarnation and I am or have lived before as Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Mohammad,Tolstoy, Tecumseh, Ganda - if I wanted to be any one else I couldn't have picked a finer group of men. Not only are of these fine men associated with me but they are also my Spiritual Guides in life. I can ask them any yes or no question & get an answer? Is lifea random walk or is their more to life in every day lessons or experiences? You just had several experiences - now find the answers? Good luck? Herb.

I believe that anyone that does see "a bright light" or see dead relatives, etc. is just basically dreaming. Even tho' a person's heart has stopped, the brain keeps functioning. If a person has a pre-concieved idea about death, that could come out in a dreamlike state.
I believe what the bible says. Eccl. 9:5 says that the dead are conscious of nothing. Verse 10 says that there is no work, knowledge, or wisdom in Sheol (the common grave). What the bible does promise is a resurrection of the dead right here on earth and that the earth will be made into a paradise just as God had originally intended.

well I've no idea whats gonna happen when i die...so i guess all i can do is wait till it happens...and i agree most people in my opinion who say a whole lot about how they died and spoke to god and what not and then start making a big deal about it are probably lying i mean if you believe in yourself and you know in your heart that something is really true there is no need to go around and making everyone believe you!!

My NO means do I believe in the concept of heaven or hell.
But, I do believe in reincarnation.
I believe that once a physical being dies, such as a human, the soul or "spirit" moves onto another spiritual plane, where it then begin its journey to another physical form, if they have not yet learned all attainable knowledge.
Some people have described this as a 'floating, warm feeling.' (In several books on past life regressions.)
If you're interested, "Many Lives, Many Masters" by Brian L. Weiss is a really interesting book.

Wow dying twice ouch.
God gives different gifts to different people, most people I know of who have seen heaven, weren't dead, but God took them while they were praying.
Without reservation is a movie a representation of what could happen when one dies, have a look it sounds more like your experience.
Did your life flash before your eyes just curious.
Wonderful question.

I understand what you're saying. You died... . . no tunnels.... no fantasies.. . . .. no miraculous white lights.. .. ..must not be a God.. Right ? Well consider something as logical as that .... . Could it be at all possible that you weren't chosen to SEE the light... . .Could it be at all possible. . . . that you are really lost. .. and you don't realize it ?? Might that experience. . .have been a WAKE UP CALL to you.(pardon the caps). Are you the wisest person in the world.. . .bar none. ..or is it at all possible. .. that you just might be missing the boat, so to speak ??

Father Benedict Groeschel and other very religious figures were
clinically dead and tell us they saw nothing either yet they believe.
Faith is like turning a light switch on and knowing a light will come on even though you don't know how it works.

Dear Bushido, here is a real testimoney of a person who died ending up in hell.
There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. (Luke 16:19-25).
Notice that the rich man and Lazerus were perfectly consceous and aware of where they were. Not only that but The rich man felt torment and pain and regret and remorse for his past actions. There is no doubt Hell is real, but dont simply take my word for it, lets look at Gods standard of goodness the Ten Commandments and see How you will do on the day of Judgement.
Have you ever lied (even once--fibs, white lies, etc.)? Ever stolen (anything--the value is irrelevant)? Jesus said, "Whoever looks upon a woman to lust after her, has committed adultery already with her in his heart." Have you ever looked with lust? If you have said "Yes" to these three questions, by your own admission, you are a lying, thieving, adulterer at heart; and the BIble says "he who hates his brother is a murderer." have you ever hated someone? if you have said yes to these three questions by your own admission your a lying thieving Murderous adulterer at heart, and thats How God will see you when you stand before HIm on the day of Judgment. So, bearing in mind that Nothing you’ve ever done is hid from His holy eyes. Will you be innocent or guilty on the Day of Judgment? Listen to your conscience. You know that you will be guilty, and therefore end up in Hell. You May say "I dont belive in hell" But that wont changer reality, you have a multitude of sins and God must by nature give you Justice you deserve. Al around us are harsh laws, and if I jummped outside of an airplane 20,000 ft in the air, it wont matter how nice i am or How much I belive I can fly, I would stil face the consequences. The Consequences for the fact you have broken Gods law, is a place called Hell. That’s not God’s will. He provided a way for you and I to be forgiven.
He sent His Son to take our punishment: "God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." He was bruised for our iniquities. Jesus then rose from the dead and defeated death.
Your own so-called “goodness” can’t get you into heaven any more than mine could. Jesus is the only way to Heaven. He is the "Door," the only "mediator." There is salvation in no other name, and If you wil repent (turn from sin) and place your faith and trust in jesus, God will forgive you of al sin and grant you the gift of everlasting life. Either this is true or it isnt, but it isnt it worth looking into it for your suls sake? If your wrong about this, it will have eternal consequneces.
God Bless
