This is his issue, he needs to resolve this one himself...He needs to know tho, that not everyone is the same. Because he was cheated on before doesn't mean it will happen again. What you need to do is move on, as hard as it may seem at the present moment, in the long run it will be fore the better. Just know this is not you, its him and don't wait, he will come back with the same issues.
I was in the military and i have seen oh so many times relationships end because of one or the other cheating and heck how do you know he wont cheat? it works both ways...If he really truly loves you maybe you can work things out but, know this trust is number one in a healthy relationship, no trust, no relationship....He really needs to fix himself before getting involved with anyone....

You know better than we...what happened with the other girl?

He may be being honest...he may be using Iraq as a way to give you the brush off...regardless, I wouldn't recommend waiting for him.

IF you are still single when he returns (and he is too) and y'all want to try something again then consider it...but don't sit around waiting while he's gone, especially after he cut you loose...

He's not going to feel obligated to save himself for you, no matter what he said...

i believe he loves u, but has been hurt and let down in the past, and doesn't want to put too much faith in anyone, best thing to do is be waiting for him when he returns, waiting faithfully. i am sure theres alot on his mind, going to iraq and all, don't be too hard on him. he has broken up with u, so he won't get hurt if u do find someone else when he is away.

goin to irak would be stressful on anybody, i think you should leave things be for now and see where he takes it. while he's over there do your best to prove your faithful.

more than love being complicated,i think it's his thinking that is,u're lucky he has made his feelings clear to you, give him time to work things out in his mind ,what he decides then should be accepted as best for both of you ,

perhaps he read the poor spelling in your love notes and figured he could find better in the desert dodging bullets...
