Ok, I like this boy named Craig. All my friends say he likes me but I dont know weather to belive them or not. Well I got my friend Devin to ask him out for me, and he said "Im not telling you." So then I went up with her and Devin asked again for me. Now this time he said, "Why." Like he did every other time. (I liked him last year, and tryed to go out with him) Im really trying to get a straight yes or no out of him and all I get is a "why" I think it might be because everytime I ask him he's hanging with my friends... BUT I REALLY DONT KNOW THIS I WHY I NEED YOUR HELP!!! plz help me, how do i get a straight Yes or No from the guy, not just a "Why". Thanks..

He's not giving an answer because you're not asking him yourself. Perhaps he'd like to hear from the horses mouth rather then from a bunch of others.

There is only one way for you to get a straight answer from him. You need to ask him yourself instead of getting your friends to do it for you. I don't blame him for asking why. He's probably interested in you, but not the games you are trying to play. Just invite him out to coffee, bowling, minature golf or anything else you enjoy doing. If he says yes, he probably likes you. If he declines, find another guy.

I agree with the first answer, he could not be sure whether you like him or notso he doesn't want to show his cards right away (been there done that) lol and it could also be that he doesn't feel that way about you and doesn't want to hurt ur feelings, just ask him str8 up YOURSELF!just tell him you want a yes or no answer and try asking him when he's alone

but since he has somewhat interest in you, instead of hesitating out loud, he just states it as a "Why?"
