It can stop the itching caused by chiggers but you're better off using Vaseline. It won't stop the itching caused by Mosquito bites or spider bites, etc... but rubbing alcohol will

nail polish burns peroid if applied to the skin. who in their right mind would even think of using nail polish on their skin its beyond me.

like for bug bites? it keeps u from scratching it and feels weird lol. but there r way better things to put on your skin...
