If you do find a guy with a dog attractive, does it matter on the type of dog it is?

Totally, because it shows that he has a soft side, and that he loves all of the creatures of the world... how sweet!

For me, since I love dogs, if a guy is attractive, having a dog doubles it, far more than a car. If a guy is walking a dog, he is making the effort to treat another creature with kindness and respect. Of course, if a woman doesn't like dogs, you're out of luck, but, I mean, if you have a dog, wouldn't you want a woman who enjoys being around dogs?
The only exception are bull terriers. Those things are so off-putting

I absolutely love dogs, and if met a single guy with a doberman pinscher (that's my favourite kind of dog) I would so be tickled pink...
though there's something about a man with a golden retreiver... that breed of dog implies a loyalty, a warmth, a trustworthiness

It depends if you like dogs or not which I do but I think how the guys behaving, if he was being nice to it and playing with it, would be more important to me than what the dog looked like.
