Any beams I have specified with camber are ordered as such. I am not aware of any field methods to do so.

If you are talking about what camber to specify, then you spec the amount of deflection due to dead load and the direction.

I will email you a heat cambering procedure that is compliant with the AWS D1.1 and D1.5 welding codes just send me an email so that I have your address and I will send it over to you first thing monday....heat cambering is the best way to do it bc it lowers the amount of stress that is "built" into the member...cold cambering is allowed but it really depends on the end use of the product.
