what is the significance of attar (perfume) in islam

it is sunnah to look good and be clean at all times and attar helps you achieve that in a small way.

It is a Sunnah of the Prophet(pbuh).

He, however, forbade women to wear strong perfume which would attract others.

Arabs make some of the very best smelling perfumes; however Mr. Donkey, it's a waste to use it as you do; real men do not need perfumes, they have a natural bold body odor.

Attar is a sunna and smells beautiful.
