Yes. I've known a few 'professional' shoplifters who were never making less than $600 a day. Most had drug problems but they were paying rent, bills and supporting themselves 100% by breaking the law. They'd get caught, go to jail, get out and do the same thing. Even after getting rid of their drug habits they continued to break the law because it was all they knew. By that time, they had such a terrible record that they felt it was pointless to try to find a "real" job anyway. They made more by stealing than they ever could have anywhere else. When you're entire world is built around crime it's really hard to start all over from scratch when you have a criminal record like that.

Most definitely. Society helps with the process as well. Once you have been arrested for a felony, every time you fill out an application, for the rest of your life you have to check yes and there goes the good jobs. So when you can't get a job what is there left to do (this is their thinking) but to resort back to crime.

it's just a term used by law enforcement to label anybody deemed distasteful to law abiding society. I was labeled a career criminal back in the late 80's by local law enforcement, I am now a productive, law abiding, tax paying, member of society. I own a business, am happily married, and have even volunteered my time to speak to "at risk" youth. So much for the term "career" criminal.

i imagine you're probable proper. Being a "authentic Christian" is a lot less about faith than that's about being committed. imagine the braveness required for her to proceed to be steadfast for all those years without receiving a unmarried validation from God. possibly truth is given to those whose faith isn't reliable adequate to live on without it. What would the outcomes be in case you call for truth earlier being keen to have self assurance in any respect? could we be shocked that God refuses to accede to their demands? God has granted me truth. So the question I ask myself is will this be a source of non secular develop, or will it stunt me? i have self assurance i'm a real Christian, yet my surety has not some thing to do with it. that's and continually will be a question of the want. this can look unusual, yet understanding God exists would not make it more convenient to positioned as a lot as Him. It only means I have a lot less excuse even as i do not. thanks for asking this question. you've shown me that I have some soul searching to do. peace

I think something like that anyway.Criminals seem to have favourite thing. One might always do smash n grabs while another would always steal cars.Another person breaks into peoples homes. They seem to master one thing, but always get caught n when it's for the same thing all the time it's like a career.A daily habit that pays ,but illegal.

Yes! There are people who scam for a living, rob houses, rob anything, probably because you don't have to work as hard to get more.
There was even a lady a few years back that had 11 identities, and got welfare, had about 30 children from different names. They finally caught her after about 5 years. She used different po boxes and addresses.
It's called "GREEDY, LAZY, LOSER".

YEP -- those who see the revolving door of justice and go back time and again to jail.
Plenty in Burglary, Home Invasions, Assault/Battery, Spousal Abuse, Elder Abuse, Murderers, Drug Pushers, whatever.
