Bi-Langual is a huge factor. Degree in Business is good, especially if you have accounting minor. Most agencies are not looking for military/police they are looking more for chemist, computer specialist, accountants, translators, etc. High GPA is also a plus. CIA, FBI, Secret Service are hard to get into if you are straight out of college. Graduate degree helps. Once you get into Federal govt it is a lot easier to transfer to the agency that you really want. DEA, Border Patrol, Customs are some of the "easier" agencies to get into. Good Luck. Be ready to move off to where everland for at least 2-5yrs.

Check with a college and find out how many of your existing credits will transfer over to the new program to get at least an associates in community corrections , a 2 year will get your foot in the door. I know some of them should. Then go to school get your associates , and get your foot in the door. Get some time in the field , and go to your supervisor and inquire about how to get promoted up. Good Luck.

A stint in the military definitely helps. Other than that, study for the entrance exam. Scoring high on that test puts you high on the list.

Believe it or not, many of these agencies don't want Criminal Justice Degrees. They are looking for the Finance whizzes/Computer Programmers.

Make sure you and your family have clean backgrounds cause they investigate all of you. Also no tattoos. A policeman friends said he was told at an early age not to get one because it's an identifying thing.

i would suggest getting a bachelor of douches degree from the Federal University (FU)

next i would suggest a masters in 'kissing the bosses ***' unless you prefer to have your head petted, then it's a whole different ball of wax

if all else fails, there is one more option, you can always sell you soul to the devil, you're gonna have to any way

Each agency has its own requirements, so check with the recruiting section of the agencies you are interested.
