This is from the Buddhism point of view on reincarnation.
Reincarnation is the cycle of life. Your next life can be a human, an animal, a ghost, an angel, a god or goddess in heaven, a bacteria, a bug, a prisoner from hell etc., depending on what you do in your current life and your action. Buddha had never encouraged people end up in the cycle of reincarnation because there are a lot of sufferings: hunger, pain, anger, greed, worries, pride, and ego, in the reincarnation cycle. According to the Buddha, the ultimate goal of a Buddhist should be reaching to Nirvana which means escaping from reincarnation cycle or ending of reincarnation. Nirvana is not like heaven. Nirvana is the end of reincarnation or the end of the cycle of life. And Nirvana is also the end of sufferings or the end of body and mind.

it is by technique of the fact Muslims, Jews, and us Christians have a ethical base faith gadget wherein we see the international dualistic. the coolest and the undesirable. we are the coolest and that they are the undesirable. jap religions are greater into information than in ethical rules. BTW, Jesus grew to become into for many of the his teachings approximately 2/3 non dualistic. notwithstanding you do have the separation of the coolest and the undesirable at Judgment Day. it particularly is as dualistic because it gets. yet for the main area, Christianity must be approximately popularity and not judgmental. Many Christians fail to be sure this and that's what finally leads to violence.

Reading the e book instead of seeing the movie is the best way to see what the author intended. Reading uses your imagination, hones your reading skills, and can make your vocabulary

I already believed in reincarnation before I became a Hindu. There is this really good book with great factual stories about reincarnation with proof called "Return of the Revolutionaries" by Walter Skemiv. He has a website http://www.johnadams.net
There were lots of fascinating stories of how ordinary individuals would come to find out their past lives through a serious of sycronicities and even find proof of it when a photo of their past life and personality traits are compared and find to be nearly identical.
Earlier this year, I had my very first past life recall. It wasn't even an attempt of mine. It just happened on it's own while dreaming. Everything in this recall felt and looked so familiar. I was a white woman from another country in India studying under a woman guru. I had studed many religions and spirituality and chose Hinduism as my path. I watched myself dying from above.
After remembering this, it made sense why I am on this path today. I'm just a white girl from a Christian background in CA, but felt that was not the right path for me. It wasn't until for many years of studying spirituality that I fell in love with Hinduism. I also have a woman guru this life too. Amma is my guru. She called me to her when it was time to study under her. I felt like I was just picking up where I left off.
I also experience "xenoglossy" which is Greek for "strange/alien language". It occurs during past life recall, hynosis, altered states, hynogagia, etc. Starting this year, I started receiving or speaking Sanskrit, Hindu or even Malayalam words that I had no prior knowledge of. I would either look them up to see if they were actual, valid words. I was always skeptical because it's just so hard to believe that knowledge of a language could just appear out of knowhere! Plus I'm deaf. Many times those words were not only valid but had actual meanings and messages.
There is a great show on the History channel on Fridays called "Past Life Investiation". If you've never seen it before, oh you would love it! Because they actually find proof of it! And they do find it! It's amazing! These subjects originally had no beliefs in reincarnation, they chose those types of subjects on purpose so they aren't biased. Then they are put under hypnosis by Georgiana Cannon (Toronto). They get information such as names, addresses, cities, locations, type of job/career/living they had, where they went to school, as much information as possible so they could piece together the puzzles. Then the hostess would travel to these locations and find these pieces of the puzzle. Many times she does find them. These were pieces of information that these subjects had no prior knowlege nor was it typically available online, etc.
One subject spoke Hindi through the past life recall remembering a life in Nepal, working in a certain town in North India in the early 20th century. This town was not shown on current maps of India. They found it on older maps of India in a library which wasn't common knowledge. And plus she did not know Hindu, not having ever studied it before.
The Bhagavad Gita has scripture about reincarnation.
"That which pervades the entire body you should know to be indestructible. No one is able to destroy that imperishable soul. " (Bhagavad Gita 2.17)
"For the soul there is neither birth nor death at any time. He has not come into being, does not come into being, and will not come into being. He is unborn, eternal, ever-existing and primeval. He is not slain when the body is slain." (Bhagavad Gita 2.20)
"The soul can never be cut to pieces by any weapon, nor burned by fire, nor moistened by water, nor withered by the wind.(Bhagavad Gita 2.23)
"As the embodied soul continuously passes, in this body, from boyhood to youth to old age, the soul similarly passes into another body at death."(Bg 2.13)
"As a person puts on new garments, giving up old ones, the soul similarly accepts new material bodies, giving up the old and useless ones."(Bg 2.22)
Our soul is eternal, the body is temporary. The body did not exist prior to our birth and nor will it exist after our death: however, our soul continues to exist. We existed before birth and will continue to exist after death.
Feel free to message me if you would like to ask questions.
