When I talk to him he doesn't seem like himself (seems kinda sad) but when he talks to someone else, he's always happy. Whats the deal?

It really depends on how the two of you broke up... If you cheated on him or he cheated on you then, yea, he probably is not over you. But if it was something else, it could be that he just isnt comfortable talking to you post break up or he simply doesnt know how.

Maybe he's not over you...maybe he's just not a fan of yours and feels he has no reason to smile or be merry around you...
Lack of communication isn't necessarily an indication he's still hurting...it may be an indication that he's "done" with you.
