It says killing is bad. Don't kill. Not even yourself.

Your Body is a temple and should be treated as such.

The Bible mentions four specific people who committed suicide: Saul (1 Samuel 31:4), Ahithophel (2 Samuel 17:23), Zimri (1 Kings 16:18), and Judas (Matthew 27:5). Each of them were wicked, evil, sinful men. The Bible views suicide as equal to murder – that’s what it is – self-murder. God is the One who is to decide when and how a person should die. To take that power into your own hands, according to the Bible, is blasphemy to God.

Although it is not describing suicide, the Bible verse 1 Corinthians 3:15 is probably a good description of what happens to a Christian who commits suicide: “He himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames.”

It is NOT going to keep you out of heaven, only one sin can do that, and thats not the one.

The body is the Temple of the Lord. Anyone commits suicide destroys the Temple and dishonors the Lord.

I don't know, but it maybe a sin because you're taking your own life and not by the will of God. Because GOD gave you life, and if you're taking your own life away that is like "playing GOD" in the sense. But I believe in the Holy Bible it is spoken against. I hope you are not thinking about doing anything like that.

Last time I looked. "Thou shall not kill." Self too! If you are dealing with this question, share it with a friend, teacher or counsillor. In a life time you may not find a really good answer. But think of the alternative to life. It is a long time!

I don't think it says anything, but the body is the temple, and God wants you to treat the temple with respect and with good things, don't destroy the temple, or damage it.

so suicide would be a bad thing

god is totally against suicide because of the fact that you're playing the role of god by choosing a path that's not of him

I agree that it says that your body is a holy temple. One of the big commandments is about not killing anyone, so I would infer that to mean one's self too.
