How can I watch jpg files when power point refuse to open them ?

Open it with MS Piant which comes bundled with the OS. Start -> Programs->Accessories-> Paint.
You can alos download Irfan View and open .jpg files with it.
Powerpoint is not an imaging software. Use any imaging software, all of them suppport .jpg format files

You can open them with a different program such as Photoshop, MS Paint, MS Word and so on. Right click the file then choose the program you want to open the JPG with.

it may be corrupted but i don't think so. go to the jpg and right click it. the click open with and choose a program to open it with.

Open them with Microsoft paint or Internet Explorer

You can view them by going to 'My Pictures'. On that you can view them by selecting 'View as a Slide show' (located on the left if you have Windows XP.)

ACDSee is best for pictures - every image extension!
