Is there one iota of empirical data to suggest the existence of anything even remotely godlike?

I was recently told by a Christian: "If you have to ask, then the answer is No". Does this logic apply here too?

What the christian said wasn't remotely from logic. Your own heart is full of Gods unconditional love,you know it is there ,you just haven't found the courage to enter in. You can't find it with the logic of mind,you must follow your Heart.

if i see a building, then it doesn't take much thought to realize someone must have built it. i don't have to see the builder, i just know that someone built it. if i see a painting, i didn't have to see it get painted, i know that someone painted it. the same goes for this world. i see mountains, oceans, trees, dirt, etc. i don't need to see a creator, i just know there is one.

i know this is an answer to a creation question, but it also answers your question as well. does this suggest the existence of God, absolutely.
