I do. But at the same time I think that it could send the wrong message to other people. You know, like they might think that you are avoiding them for other reasons. But in reality, that isn't the case. You simply don't want to rain on anyone's parade. You know?

When I'm feeling down I usually just avoid the party scene altogether. I know I can be a downer if I avoid people and sometimes people don't always say what their thinking. Like if I'm down I don't go around telling everyone, just like everyone doesn't go around asking me what the hell is wrong with me. It's best just to bow out before the party if you know your not up to it. Because it will bring someone down and why be a party pooper??? Sara.

Yes, definitely. I avoid as many as possible during my down times, depending on what I am down about. I don't want to make others worry and I just want to lurk around in my own dilemma alone.

My friends and I tell each other ...I'm on a bit of a downer. We support each other good and bad times. We cheer each other up. I am sure your friends would be the same.

Absolutely. If I am around people I just keep my mouth shut because everything I say comes out negative and people just look at me like I've gone off my rocker.

Yes I do, but when a good friend does it do me, I feel chided. Like I couldn't help cheer them up.

Yes, I agree. Problem is we can't please all of the people all of the time.
