Ok so its time for me to get a dog, and I want a Yorkie and I have been looking on the internet at the cost, and they range from $300 to $2000, I was wondering if there was a place to get them cheap. Like $150 cheap. Or is there any other dogs that are as small as yorkies when they are full grown? Nothing bigger then 15 lbs.

The price of a MALE Yorkie will cost $1000 and the price for a female Yorkie will cost $1200 - from professional (hobby) breeders. That is pet quality ONLY. A Yorkie that has show potential will cost a lot more - especially if it is a female.
There may be some Yorkie rescue groups around your area - search Google.com to check or contact your local animal shelter to find out about local Yorkie rescue groups.

Some other breeds that you might want, or might suit you are:
Bichon Frise - 9-12 pounds.
Cavalier King Charles Spaniel - 10-18 pounds.
Chihuahua - 2-6 pounds.
Dachshund - 8-20 pounds (depending on what size).
Maltese - 6.5-9 pounds.
Havanese - 7-13 pounds.
Chinese Hairless Crested - 10 pounds.
Lhasa Apso - 10-15 pounds.

Go to http://dogbreedinfo.com/apartment.htm for a huge list of dogs that would suit living in an apartment.

Additional: Remember, you get what you pay for. If you pay $150 for a Yorkie - it is either a Yorkie mix or it has a health problem(s). If you can not afford to pay in excess of $900 for a Yorkie - look for other breeds that are cheaper or get a different pet. Cats can come cheap (local SPCA) and are easy to take care of.
There is NO way you will find a Yorkie (even from a rescue shelter) for $150. It may be $250+ for an older Yorkie (5+ yrs) from a rescue shelter.

I am extremely fond of Yorkie's. Mine is AKC Registered and they are pricey. Yorkie's are a wonderful choice for apartment living. My Yorkie learned what noises outside of my front door are none of his business and what to bark at. They are very smart...and attentive, loyal and will love you unconditionally.

But you may be better off shopping around for small mix-breed dogs. I'm sure you could find a small-breed dog that you could fall in love with right away that wouldn't cost you an arm and a leg. Good luck with your new pet-mate.

First rule - you get what you pay for.
Second rule - the cheap comes out expensive.
Third rule - see first two rules.

Dogs are very expensive beyond the initial cost. You are going to be responsible for spay/neutering the animal, regular vaccinations, monthly preventative medications (fleas, ticks, heartworm, etc), licensing, etc. Dogs are the gift that keeps on costing.

If you are already worried about the cost of the animal, save your money and adopt a pet from a rescue group or local animal shelter. That way you can save your money to spend on buying the food, crate, toys, snacks, collar, leash and everything else a happy healthy dog requires.

Please do more research. Education is the key.

Check out your local Humane Society....they will have small dogs up for adoption and can give you more info on pricing, etc.
They all need tender, loving care and that comes at a price.
Good Luck
