most definetly look up your medication and its side effects and if insomnia is one of them talk to your doctor about it.. it may be that you need to switch medications to one that is not affecting you so much.

Tell your doctor and they can prescribe a sleeping aid such as Lunesta or some thing similar. It helps you fall asleep and stay asleep without the groggy fog hangover most sleeping pills offer.

The standard old treatment for seizure disorder was phenobarbital and dilantin. They tended to make the user drowsy. There are newer meds out now that reduce the side effects, drugs like Neurontin. Speak to your neurologist.
