If it's the religion your parents saddled you with, you didn't choose it.

Most people are born into a particular faith and really know no other. I was born into a Jewish family that was secular. I've done my own research and at least for me, being Jewish is right. I'm proud of my heritage and culture. I've studied theology and seems the most devout or the ones that actually choose what faith to follow. I've noticed many of the most active member in a Jewish community can be converts. Society is much more open and accepting as it was a generation ago.

I was forced into Lutheranism at an early age, but left to seek my own spiritual path, and I have settled into Druidism. In a way yes, I chose it, but I also feel that I was drawn to it, because it's always felt natural for me to be a part of the religion and lifestyle of the ancient Celts.

I was raised a Christian and became a deist, so yeah I chose it. I don't really like calling deism a religion but either way I chose it.

Everyone should be able to pick their own religion. Unfortunately, I was born into Lutheran and I love Paganism.

Best Wishes! :D
