BANANA PUDDING
You will find this every day at dessert time at Mrs. Wilkes’. "For a delicious change, we sometimes substitute our pound cake for the vanilla wafers," informs Marcia. This is a special favorite of the Girl Scouts who troop over from the Juliette Gordon Low House, birthplace of the founder of the Girl Scouts of America.
1 (6-ounce) box instant vanilla pudding
1 (7 1/4-ounce) box vanilla wafers
4 bananas, sliced
Meringue
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Make the pudding according to the directions on the box. Arrange the wafers, sliced bananas, and pudding in layers in a 2-quart casserole, ending with a layer of pudding on top. This will make 3 layers. Spread the meringue gently over the top. Bake for 15 minutes.
Note: For a quicker version of this recipe, use pudding as directed on box and place a layer of whipped cream on top.
Makes 8 servings.

Layer the pudding with banana slices sauted in caramel and flambed with dark rum or brandy in a clear glass container or bowl. Drizzle the remaining caramel on top of the pudding in a circular design, pipe rosettes of rum or brandy flavored whipped cream around the edges and insert a chocolate dipped stawberry into the center of each rosette.

Instead of just plain vanilla pudding bananas and wafers you can alternate vanilla and chocolate puddings along with the banana and wafers. Sounds yummy to me. I actually thought about trying this for thanksgiving.

Get Strawberries and slice them , put them in a pretty dish, and add half of the pudding . Add the rest of the pudding, and top with the rest of the strawberry slices make sure you keep one large whole one for the center. Just make your own design on top.. You can also make Strawberries dipped in chocolate, as a side dish.

If there will be no kids eating it soak your bananas and dip your wafers in cocoa liquer and alternate chocolate and banana pudding. Kind of like you would do with a tirimisu.

Drizzle some caramel or chocolate over the top, then run a knife through a few times for a spider-webby look.
I like to use french vanilla pudding, it has more flavor.
