Hey there....I am 16 years old and looking to delve into a relationship with a great girl I can't stop thinking about. I don't want this relationship to be ruined by taking things too fast, but I have an issue. My...erm...unit isn't straight when it's at a full salute. In fact, it leans about 20 degrees to the left. I noticed the scar from circumcision some time ago and can't help but wonder, is this normal? If it isn't...are there options to fix it when I turn 18? What options do I have? Thanks

First off, Kudos to you for not being like every other a**hole guy and going straight into a girls pants!! Secondly, Believe it or not, not very many guys have straight...uh... areas. Though, it sounds like it could have been a result of too much skin being cut from your circumcision. Im assuming its pretty normal considering you have probably had a physical with your doctor and the issue was never brought up before. If your that uncomfortable about it, ask your doctor if there is anything you can do to change it.

Mike J,
I am a man and this is as normal as apple pie. Every man has this same condition. Some leans to the right some to the left, don't worry about it you are just fine. Twenty degrees thats definitely nothing to worry about, some men have it a lot more than that. Even at that it's still normal.

Stop thinking with and about your private parts - if you are looking to get into a relationship with a girl, think about what she likes, how can you make her happy, make her smile - what's important to her and how can you help make a difference in her life and bring out the her best. Geez, when will the kids of today stop thinking with their genitals and start thinking about what's real in life.

You're 16 years old for crying out loud. Keep your pants zipped up and you won't have to worry about how "it" looks or leans. When your old enough to actually have a meaningful relationship that includes marriage and sex with your wife (hey, that could be a new concept for this generation - waiting until marriage for sex) see a good urologist and get the physician's opinion on what can/should/needs to be done.

That is completely normal. The linked page has survey results that show that this is the case for most teenage guys, along with a lot of other links to information about teen sexuality presented in a non-erotic factual way.

My husband has a similar penis shape. He calls it the comfort curve. I agree, as I find it very stimulating. Consider it an asset not something to be ashamed of. If you can't live with it I am sure it could be fixed, although it may be painful.

You shouldn't worry about it to much-since it does not have a bone I don't think it could be straightened. As long as it works it shouldn't matter.
