I have to read the following for religion homework:
Luke 23: 32-43
John 17: 6-26
Luke: 22: 31-33

They are intercession attitudes or forms of prayer w/e ... I think?

Some questions after reading them is:
"How does this attitude of prayer shape your relationship with others?" ... well I don't know because I don't see how it's related to other people.

"How is this attitude imporant in human relationships?" ... I guess it's important because the prayers are about other people not yourself?

And I have to write a prayer based on the attitude (intercession). Does anyone have any ideas? How do I write a prayer and about what and who???

ok,we can do nothing apart from God,Jesus said actually commanded us to love one another, however we cannot do this without Gods help,as for intercessory prayers that is when you feel led by the Holy Spirit to pray for someone other than yourself

Intercession is standing in the gap for others, (praying for others). So I would say if you were going to write a paper about the attitude of intercession think about your attitude about praying for others and go from there.

Intercession for another is an important part of being a Christian. Each Christian is an ambassador for Christ and for the kingdom of God (2 Corinthians 5:14-20) Paul states that it is the love of Christ that compels us to love others. Therefore, because we are ambassadors of God, we also intercede for our brothers. Christ is our intercessor before God, our High Priest in the heavenly sanctuary. When we sin, He pleads His blood and perfect life on our behalf in exchange for our sinful life.
(1 John 2:1). One could say that His High Priestly ministry is a constant application of the cross of Calvary for us.

In like manner, we as Christians are to intercede for our brothers by praying for them and seeking to lead them to Christ. James 5:16 says "the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." It is because of the prayers of the righteous that the lives of many sinners are extended. Remember the story of Abraham who interceded for the inhabitants of Sodom, pleading with God that if only 10 righteous persons would be found in that wicked city, the whole city would be spared. Unfortunately, only 3 persons were found, Lot and his two daughters.

Because Christ died for us and loved us while we were yet sinners, our lives are forfeit to His will. His will is that we love one another. He has bound us with the bonds of love and brotherhood, so that our relationship with our fellow man is one of kinship. We no longer look at our neighbor according to the flesh, that is according to his outward appearance. We look at our fellow man as God does, by looking at their potential as sons and daughters of God.

Now that we see each other as brother and sisters in Christ, we pray for each other as we would a brother or sister that is in need of supernatural power. In our battle against sin and the enemy of souls (Satan) we battle not against flesh and blood but against demonic supernatural forces. It is only through the power of God that Satan's attacks can be repelled. It is this that makes our intercession for our brothers and sisters so urgent.

There is much more that I could write but I hope this helps.

A simple intercessory prayer would be:

Dear God,

I pray tonight, not for any selfish desire, but for thy people, thy children who are suffering under the attacks of the evil one. I pray that you would especially be with ________ tonight as I know that he/she is in need of your love and protection. Draw near to _______ tonight, give him/her a special measure of your love and peace. Help them to realize their dependance on you. Send your angels to guard their thoughts and keep them safe. We know that the forces of evil are all around, but you have promise to protect us from the evil one. You have promised to draw near to us and to be our fortress and place of refuge. Because I know that you are a God who keeps all your promises, I thank you in advance for answering my prayer. I know that I am not worthy, but you have made me your child through the blood of Jesus Christ, my Redeemer.

Amen
