Well I saw the statement that he made and personally I don't think that he meant it the way it came out. It was just one of those situations when you put your foot in your mouth without realizing how it sounds to others. At the moment I am not a fan of politics as it seems that our country is going to hell in a handbasket! My husband is in the military and will probably have to ship off one day in the near future and it really makes me sick that it is for a inhumane cause. Iraq is not in any way trying to invade or attack us. So why are we there? Why are they trying to force a democracy that will never exist there? People have been under Islamic rule there for over 2,000 years why would they change now??? This is not about terrorism or weapons of mass destruction this is all about controlling the oil industry. It's a greedy, cruel, inhumane war that is taking the lives of our soliders and also killing innocent people who live there.

It isnt true that soldiers are uneducated or just plain dumb. I have been in the army for 10 years now. I earned an associates degree in computers before I entered the army and now im working on another degree. Anyone can enter the armed forces, it dosent matter how much education you have. Alot of my freinds have no college at all, but are great soldiers I went to war with and wouldnt hesitate to go again if I had to. Anybody can be taught to operate any kind of machinery or weapons. What Kerry said was wrong. Soldiers are smart, but above that they are brave. Just remember the armed forces are volunteer, anyone can join.

Steve... there is little doubt that what John Kerry reported replaced into meant to be a shot at Republicans yet to assert that John Kerry replaced into not pertaining to our protection force is purely idiotic. there's no way that any life like human being can not see how John Kerry looks at our adult adult males and females people serving. that is largely a cutting-part day replay of what he reported after returning from Vietnam. If any Democrat does not publicly denounce this guy because the jerk that he's then they don't look any more effective.

The original joke should have been thrown out because it wasn't funny in the first place. Here's a better joke than the one John Kerry would have told, if he hadn't f****d up:
What do you call a high speed lump in the middle of a fart?
Miscellaneous.
Never mind. He'd f*** that one up too. Hey Kerry, next time you want to make a funny, put your thumbs in your ears, wiggle your fingers, and cross your eyes. People will think that's funny. Unless you f*** that up too.

Assuming you are smart enough to realize that he was not joking, and it had nothing to do with the President. . .
First of all, it was incorrect. He's living in the Vietnam days, and simply doesn't know that it's a totally different military than it was thirty years ago. It makes me wonder why a person who doesn't know that is a Senator.
At any rate, that one aspect of his ignorance alone is enough to make him unfit for public office, let alone the Presidency.
He's just a fool.

Did you see the whole story? john kerry didnt mean it how it came out. I was outraged at first, my man is over there. Then I heard his explanation, thats not what he meant. You should go watch it on youtube. Bush is just an as*hole who instead of responding to the american people about why he is EVEN in iraw tries to spin things and put the heat on someone else.

We all have moments when we open our mouth too wide or spit out something we later on regret. I think that was the case.
