I had a blood test done and was told by the DR that I have a pretty low level of B12. I was given a prescription supplement to fix this but was wondering if there is anything else I should be aware of. Thx!

This is common in vegetarians... are you? It could result in megaloblastic or pernicious anemia & neurological degeneration of neurons. You probably have fewer than normal red blood cells, thus a reduced oxygen-carrying capacity. You need to be taking supplements.

My answer - please see a doctor as any vitamin or mineral deficiency has the potential to be very serious...
