It sounds like ear mites. All that means is that you need to check with your vet to get the age appropriate meds for your baby. I know that this sounds a little gross but those mites are eating the insides of that kittens ear. They can cause her to go deaf if it doesn't get treated. And stop using peroxide. I don't know if the blood was caused from that, but that could easily harm her ear too. The q-tip is fine, but try it with warm water on it. When you get the meds make sure to follow the directions on the container. It will tell you exactly what to do. I have seven cats and all of them have had ear mites at one point and time. They are fine now and playful as ever. Baby kittens and outdoor cats are especially prone to earmites so it is nothing you have done. Good luck.

It means your kitten has ear mites - don't put anything in the kitten's ears without asking a vet as some medications for ear mites ONLY MUST be used on a certain age group of cats when they are a certain age. She may be too young yet for this so ask your vet or go to PETCO and consult with one of the staff if you don't have the money to being your kitten to the vet.

Definitely ear mites. They are very common and do not mean that your kitten has leukemia or feline HIV. I would take her to the vet just to make sure she is good and has all shots.
My vet always recommends mineral oil for ear mites. It kills the mites and cleans their ear at the same time. The reason for the blood is the claws scratching the insides of her ear when she scratches at them.
Mites should be gone in a week if you clean 2 to 3 times a day with mineral oil.
Good luck!

it could be dirt or a parasite type of bug. peroxide is good. my vet also told me to use 1/2 water, 1/2 white vinegar mix to clean our kitten's ears when he had the same problem. i did this every day until the black stuff went away. now i do it once a week just so the stuff doesn't come back. just put the mixture on a cotton ball and clean the ear, DO NOT pour inside of the ear.

Those are definitely ear mites and you will not get rid of them with H2O2. Your kitten needs to go to the vet anyway to start her shots, be wormed, tested for FIV and leukemia. So make an appointment tomorrow and get her in. The vet will take care of the earmites with a shot or medication for you to apply.
Please don't use stuff from a pet store. It is usually ineffective and you will be wasting your money.

It could be mites, it could be dirt. But you must stop with the peroxide, try using something more natural like 100% pure coconut oil, (try Nui brand-pronounced new) bought from the local health store (yes it is expensive but the cat will enjoy licking it from the spoon, and it is very good for her) coconut oil has anti-fungal properties plus a few others that will only be beneficial to the cat. Good on you but you do realise you will have to have her desexed.

Sounds like ear mites. She needs to be taken to a vet to get her little ears cleaned out.
Ear mites and tapeworms come from having fleas. Chances are she has all of that so she will likely also need flea and worming treatments.

It is ear mites. Peroxide is one of the best treatments. It will take a week or more of cleaning though.

it isn't a competent theory to enable your kitten have black stuff of their ears. you may sparkling it out. carry him down (or have some different person carry him down) and carry the top of his ear. dont tug or jerk it, as a results of the indisputable fact that would damage their ears/listening to. if some different person is retaining them down, puppy him slowly and attempt to calm him inclusive of your voice. ear cleansing is major, and could not be ignored. in case you may't effectively do it, call round to ascertain how a lot a vet/groomer will can charge.

It sounds like ear mites. I'd suggest taking her to the vet to confirm that. The vet will recommend a treatment for your kitten.
