We broke up 7 mos ago. But we managed to stay to keep in touch..BUt then i found out that during that time he tried courting somebody..should i still give it a try or just quit..hope u can shed some light on this poor soul..

i would say to split it seems to me he is just trying to court anybody that he just doesnt want to be alone. Don't settle for that. Also, you said he was an ex, there are too many people out there that we dont have to try to go back to our past, we can move forward and find someone new. It didnt work the first time and the outcome will be the same everytime.

Think about why you split up in the first place. Can this rift be truly healed? If he was trying to court someone in this "break" then was he thinking about you as much as he should have been, considering he now thinks you have a future together? Think about these things clearly & thoroughly before you commit to anything.

I think you need to remember why you broke up and ask yourself if things have changed. You really didn't make a break though, because you kept in touch the whole time. Try it if you want more of what you used to have before.

Are you talking about during the time that you were broken up? During that time, he can date anyone he wants to. So can you. You can't hold that against him, he thought you didn't want him so he was trying to get on with his life. There is nothing wrong with that.

give it a go. You cant blame him for trying to move on when he thought it was over. As long as you think his feelings for you are genuine.

you were broken up atleast he didnt do it while you were together give him another chance and if he is trying to talk to other girls while you are with him then leave him 4 good!
