attempt a can of 'Tactical Baron Verulam'. LOL. you'll discover it on ebay and on line. CRKT makes really some small, a lot less severe priced - yet fantastically sensible knives. (alongside with severe priced ones too!) back, EBay is an magnificent source, do exactly a search for on CRKT (Columia River Knife and equipment agency) and variety it from 'lowest value' first. now and again your well-liked knife receives left behind - and that's really reachable to have a small, light-weight CRKT reachable. They make over three hundred+ fashions - all are staggering, they don't look junk! money nicely spent. That - and also you'll not in any respect have adequate survival techniques. I have one in my survival equipment I take everywhere, there is one on my ATV, one in my trapping equipment, and one in my truck. this way i do not could continually worry about having one me - i understand the position one or 2 are each and each and every of the time. They make ammo particular pocket ammo distributors. keeps the bullets sparkling - holds six frequently. those are magnificent. I also like the spandex like ammo holders that bypass on the inventory of the rifle - they carry 9 bullets. those are sweet. If his rifles do not have scope caps - then he needs some - i love the turn up ones made through snowstorm. snowstorm has a lovable little chart you may print at living house - all you want is a few seconds with the scope and also you'll straight away tell what length caps it takes for the front and rear. Have a relaxing Christmas!

Are you interested in the outdoorsy stuff? I know that there's not much that pleases me more than when my girl wants to go with me on an evening road hunt, out target practicing or just sit and keep me company for a few hours in a duck blind. Sometimes company in the best gift.

Gift card to his favorite store. Offer to take him shopping to purchase something. My dad is this way so I will either be getting him a card or one of those underwater cameras that you can drop over the side of a boat and look at the stuff in the water.

Make up a gift card and ask him to teach you how to hunt or fish...even if you don't want to learn. He'll love sharing what he knows with you and will cherish the time you spend together. I bought my wife her own shotgun when we were dating and she still tells people about it. Nothing says "I trust you with my life" like giving someone their own gun.

If you don't like that, put him in the car and take him to the nearest Cabelas or Gander Mountain store. He'll find something!
Good luck.

P.S. A guy can never have too many shotguns or flyrods.

How about a gift certificate to a store like BassPro shops that has a lot of stuff that is intended to appeal to that kind of person? That way he can pick out his own exact choices using the card you gave him.

i am an avid hunter and every time my wife/kids ask me what i want for Christmas i tell them to buy my hunting/fishing/furbearer/waterfowl license for me, that's a gift that they know i'll use and it cost about $80.00 and the beauty of it is you know you can't get it wrong.
