I wonder why religions, Christianity and Islam in particular, don't allow much questioning. Judaism is built on it.

Socrates is the first Christian philosopher. Regardless of time, because God revealed Himself throughout history. Socrates is a great example.

I am a questioner. I research, I seek truth, and I find it.

Christianity, I believe is built on Judaism, so therefore we can question.

My pastor makes me bring an excavator and shovel to bible studdies (He doesn't let us just give pat answers or leave with a lack of understanding, he welcomes our questions and discussions) Never forcing a view on us.

I wonder why people still think they know more then God does.

After all, what's the created to say to the creator? The Bible is the inspired Word of God, an Absolute Truth in reality. One simply cannot compare it to mere human logic. That would be an insult to Almighty God.

Who really cares? Can you just get to your point? Your questions are getting boring. If you are going to bash another religion, get on with it. Just come out and say it. No more beating around the bush. People will believe what they want. You trying to make them feel stupid will not change their mind, it will just make them believe more.

Yes, it would fall apart, that's why the Religious Right is trying to legislate their religion, because they can't persuade.

Funny thing is that Christianity has a lot of Pagan influences in it. They were really big fans of Aristotle.
