-- Jeffrey Dahmer?

Apparently there's a preacher who baptized Dahmer in prison and claims the notorious murderer-cannibal was saved before he died:

BTW, I'm an atheist and this is just one more reason why I have no wish to get within a country mile of heaven.

Jesus Christ died on a cross for all who come to him for forgiveness. If you read in the Bible John 3:16 you will read where God sent his son to died in your place. We have life, and live on God's Earth. God is Good and he will not allow evil to be forever. One day we all will stand before him and give account. Only those that ask for forgiveness, and ask Jesus Christ into their life will escape the Lake of Fire. Like it or not that is how it is.

IF someone like Jeffrey Dahmer comes to their senses and believes what the Bible says one must do to be saved, then no matter how bad that person has been, all will be forgiven.

In Heaven, Jeffrey Dahmer will be a new Person, and will remember nothing of the evil he did on this earth. If you are in Heaven and meet him, you will not know anything about his life here on earth.

God offers everlasting life to whoever wants it. But if you stay a sinner and never come to God through his Son Jesus Christ, then you will not be around to enjoy all the wonders of everything that will be forever.

This is the same religion (Christianity and all its variations) that has its entire history drenched in the blood of all those it has destroyed...yes destroyed, I know that they called it "saving them" because being dead in the name of a belief that you don;t hold is soooo much better than living~right from the Crusades on up to present times. You still don't believe me? Ask first nations people about residential schools, look at the continuing fight in Ireland...there isn't a conflict in the world today or in its ENTIRE history that can't be boiled down to a fight over religion.
George Carlin put it best:
"Do you believe in god?"
"No"
BANG*
"Do you believe in god"
"Yes"
Do you believe in MY god?"
"No"
BANG*
You know the crap they peddle..."love thy neighbour (only if they're Christian); if you do something that the religion deems as bad then the petty, temper tantrum throwing god (capitial letter not required) will punish them by sending them to hell but hey if you say you're really sorry then nothing bad will happen! Hey let's not forget that this is the same organization that in the middle ages used to sell "get out of hell free cards"
It really shocks me that in this day and age, with all the actual SCIENTIFIC PROOF that there is in the world that people insist on not only clinging to blind faith (do you also believe in fairy tales?) but they also still feel the need to cram it down other people's throats. The knee-jerk reaction to my little speech here I KNOW will be that I am spreading hate but when you take a step back, you will realize that I have at no time told anyone not to believe what they want, but perhaps to stop believing what they are told to. Think for yourself!

Oh I almost forgot...in answer to your question-I will feel nothing about meeting Dahmer or any other sick, twisted ******* in "heaven" because there is no such place.

Homie, I ain't concerned.

Basically, I think karma will put you where you're going, and if his is bad, good people won't be anywhere near him. If being evil is separating yourself from the good within you (sometimes called "God", among other things), then you'll put yourself wherever you decide to go. If you do, in fact, go somewhere after death. So if there are different levels of hell or different parts of the afterlife (believed by most Christians, Buddhists, Muslims, Ancient Greeks, most Pagans, Hindus, well, pretty much everybody who believes in some kind of life after death), then there must be some kind of sorting process that will separate Dahmer-types from the normal population.

Or there's reincarnation and he's coming back as a steak. In which case, he'll only be around as long as the cow and then it's off to the grill!

If Dahmer really did find the error of his life and did repent, then he is saved. If he went through the motions trying to fool people, well,God knows his heart.Paul the Apostle was virulently anti Christian when he was Rabbi Saul,he had people arrested and watched while they were stoned to death.I think his conversion was very real. That's something we as humans ,can't judge ourselves.
Believe me no ones going to force you into Heaven.Hell was created especially for the Devil and his angels and man only goes there when, like you, they choose to(you only have two choices,it's not like you can say "Neither,I'd rather be in New Jersey")Good luck with your decision, just stay open minded,eh?

Assume there is a heaven, just for a minute. Okay, now, would you spend time on earth with Jeffrey Dahmer? Of course not. Now back to the assumption of a heaven......you would NOT spend time with Jeffrey Dahmer over there either. Can you imagine how many billions of souls must be over there? You wouldn't even bump into Dahmer as you would not want to see him....likewise he knew nothing of your existence and would not wish to see you either.

I know this will not sway your opinion on whether heaven exists or not....but, my feeling is that it exists and we spend our time over there with the same souls we did while on earth while doing whatever our calling or specialty is in growing spiritually and helping others do the same.

BTW, nobody knows what happens to the mentally ill/mass murderer types when they die.....people are only guessing.

Come on Sugar, You know Your never going to die if You don't want to; or get old, or get sick. Give this heaven and hell thing up, that's for the confused; accept that Your an immortal and You will be. I've been alive now for hundreds of years and it's great. You just have to be careful not to let anyone kill You or get caught up in an accident and You've got it beat to the band. Life is wonderful, heaven and hell can have all the weirdo sick monkey people like that God awful Dalmer and company. Hey, there's a name for a sit com, Yikes!!!!

Depending on what religion a person is baptisted into does not guarantee a place in Heaven . And who are we to pass judgment on another person's soul only God has that right!

Jeffrey Dahmer gets to go to Heaven, but all the peaceful Buddhists and Hindus and nonreligious people in the world who never did anything wrong are burning in an eternal lake of fire. Isn't organized religion great?

(By the way, the answer to that is: No, it's not.)

I don't know where Jeffery Dahmer will spend his eternity. No one really knows for sure. But, if your choosing Hell for whatever reason, you should realize that it will be occupied with similar kinds of people.
