I have to read the following:
Luke 23: 32-43
John 17: 6-26
Luke: 22: 31-33

They are intercession attitudes or forms of prayer w/e.

Some questions after reading them is:
"How does this attitude of prayer shape your relationship with others?" ... well I don't know because I don't see how it's related to other people.

"How is this attitude imporant in human relationships?" ... I guess it's important because the prayers are about other people not yourself?

And I have to write a prayer based on the attitude (intercession). Does anyone have any ideas? How do I write a prayer and about what and who???

The first prayers in Luke 23 are prayers of forgiveness. "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do", and "This day you shall be with me in Paradise". How these two prayers shape our relationships with others is that must learn how to forgive others, and the attitude of forgiveness is very important in our relationships. Just imagine if we went around bearing grudges all the time. That would be horrible.

The next prayer is a really long prayer that Jesus prayed before He died on the Cross. Jesus is praying for those that God sent him, and also telling God that He has been a Good and Faithful Servant. This is something that we really must keep in mind. We need to be in the world but not of it. This is definitely a prayer for others.

The third prayer from Luke 22, is a prayer for someone's faith. Jesus prayed that Simon Peter's faith would remain strong. This intercessory prayer we hear at Mass often during the Prayers of the Faithful, and on Good Friday at the Solemn Collects. We pray for the Faith of Christians all over the World.

I hope this has helped you.

God Bless.

First let me say thank you for this question it has made me reread in my opinion the most beautiful prayer ever put to paper john 17:6-26 and my prayer is that every one that comes to this site sees this ? and at least tries to answer in their heart but enough about me in all three passages we see two things first a surrender to the father second the love Jesus has for his friends and for us and asks the father to watch over us protect us and forgive us even when we are or will hurt him. how does this shape us do we love our Friends so much that we would rather die than loose them even when they might hurt us this kind of love is important because it is unconditional and we all need this we all make mistakes so we would write a prayer that first gives glory to God as in the LORD'S prayer then offer our pain for the sake of the one that hurt us even if they are an enemy because we love them and forgive them

I do not like the term attitude in this context. A better term is posture.

Anyhow, Intercession is the act of placing the needs, care and concerns before your own. Jesus throughout the Gospels and the Jews believe that to live in proper relationship with God you must live in proper relationship with other people. This means caring for them in times of need even if the person is a stranger.

Intercession helps develope thes posture of care. Often all a person can do to help is to pray for God's will to be done in the struggles of others.

To write a prayer you would recognize God and begin talking to God about the people and struggles that you are aware of. Sometimes people will wish that you request a specific outcome and that is find to ask God for but do not expect God to solve things exactly the way we ask for it. It is better to ask God to bring peace to the person struggling and aks for God's will to be done in it.

The Lord knows what you need.

Luk 11:2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.

Luk 11:3 Give us day by day our daily bread.

Luk 11:4 And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.

Luk 4:4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
