Could having dreams in which dead loved ones are present be a sign of anything? Not so much in the sense of ones who have recently died, but more so after they've been gone for a while. Could the context of them telling you a message in the dream be a sign of anything greater?

At the very least, it means that you still remember them, cherish their memories, and love them. At the most, it could mean that it is a signal that they are in a better place, but they are thinking about you!

I dream about a friend of mine who died recently a lot. Sometimes I just dream about her favorite flowers, which reminds me of her too. I don't want to derive more meaning out of it than there is, but it's nice to at least see my friend in my dreams when I can't see her in real life.

My dad had a dream once about his grandma (who was dead) waving from her front door (like she used to do when he would go home at night after she babysat him) The next day he found out he was being deployed to the Gulf War. So, maybe...

Also, I had a dream that my grandpa (who was also dead) was looking out my bedroom window (which faced the street) The next morning we found out that my brother had been in a car accident and was in a semi-coma at the hospital. (don't worry, he was okay, though :)

I still dream of my father, however I dont think that it is anything more than your brain missing the interactions you once had and through your dreams is recreating them to satisfy its cravings. I wouldn't take anything that is said in dreams to be a sign of anything, just enjoy the dreams and let them be just that, "Dreams". Peace
