my GF's dog?

My GF got a new dog but it didn't like me at all, earlier today she suggested we get to know each other better so we could get along. She made me take it out a walk. Thing is when we were out I accidentially put the dog in a sack and dropped it in the river. I don't know what to tell my GF when I am meant to take it back. If was thinking of saying "What dog"? as she isn't too bright and I think I could convince her it just like the frienhds she makes up in her head, unfortunately she has a photo on her cell phone of the cursed animal. What should I do? Will I tell it it got run over and I had to choke it to put it out of it's miserey?

Dogs are a very good judge of character and obviously the dog had a reason for not liking you as you are not a good person. Hopefully your GF will trust the judgement of any future dogs.

what kind of sack? like a ball sack? which way was the river going? up or down? maybe it will come back. maybe she will dye her hair brown and figure the whole thing out. good luck, you have a serious problem to cope with.

if shes not very bright then i would erase the pic from her phone and tell her thet it wasnt real or something.....
