Seriously, here is a link to a search URL or two. You should serf through these sites as you will gain email addresses, and places you can post to talk to people closer to Herda surname than anyone here. Note that there are more than 10 yahoo search pages on the first string alone. There are only 8 sites in the GENFORUM search, which means the name is not common. But you should find some people to discuss with.
