All religions twist their theology to suit the dominant culture. If Christians didn't accommodate Roman culture, people would never have accepted the religion. For example, is Christ existed, there's no evidence that he was born on December 25, and really, the day of his birth probably should be floating by our calendar because he was Jewish, and the Jews use a lunar calendar, as opposed the Romans (and eventually us) who use a solar calendar. However, the Romans celebrated the festival of Saturnalia around the end of December, and, of course, did not want to give up their holiday, so Christ's birthday was set for the end of December. There are countless other more significant examples, but that one just comes to the top of my head

Jesus was a rabbi, he therfore was a practicing Jew. He was a rebel in trying to free his nation from the Romans, he is a prophet in Islam and I have no idea what the Jews have on him. Romans saw an opportunity to convert millions of people and thus make a great empire and took it, Roman Catholic Church. Evangelicals ,protestants , Baptists, all others all derive from the first christians beliefs, and those beliefs were very different from what the Romans came up with, so in this complot ,yes; it was to suit the needs of the Roman Empire! Because the Great Mystery we can never understand! Saludos.

The way I remember it,,, it was the Romans who were feeding Christians to lions or as one of their favorite deeds was,, heating up metal to red hot and slicing open a woman's abdominal sack and spreading her entrails on the metal while she watched and still most did not deny Jesus, so are these the same people you think changed their beliefs to suit the Gov. of Rome, or was it some group who said they were Christians and perhaps denied Him if somebody threatened to tickle them too hard.

Jews did some of that rearranging though you might want to check out your History.

Christians never accepted the Talmud as inspired and much of the old is right in the new ,, word for word, so where did this idea come from.

No, they don't. To what are you referring? It sounds like you may be combining Christianity with Catholicism.
